We decided we wanted to make an electric guitar that offered the best possible sound, feel and quality at the lowest possible price. The series 1 Performer is the first of these. We chose locally grown Golden Cypress because of it’s acoustic properties and its availabillity. We built prototypes in solid, semi chambered and fully chambered versions. We found they were all good. The fully chambered has slightly less sustain but has a clarity that is exceptional. We placed one in a local recording studio and the guitar quickly developed a reputation in the local industry. We were then able to entice some very experienced musicians into helping us take the guitar to the final stage. We’ve chosen a traditional solid body for Series 1. Fully shielded with noiseless Kinman Pickups, the guitar only makes the sounds you want it to. Of course, if you have something else in mind, then contact us for a quote to have a custom-made electric guitar made exactly to your requirements.
